March 1, 2009-- Walking along Waikiki beach, I came upon an Italian sand sculptor, Antonio Iannini making what he called the Mayan pyramid. It took him hours to complete. I kept walking by to check on his progress. Afterwards, he sat beside his masterpiece and collected tips from tourists. Ingenious way to pay for dinner.
