Aramu Muru's Doorway
On August 29, 2008, while on a guided tour of Peru, I took these digital photos of Aramu Muru's Doorway. The first picture is a front view of a carved doorway in the face of the cliff. The second photo is a close up photo of a channel or tube a few feet along the ride side doorway. The third picture captured the mystical quality of the doorway. It appears to have an "light" arrow pointing to the doorway.

The Andean legend is called the "Puerta de Hayu Marca," (Gate of the Gods/Spirits). The carved doorway in the natural rock cliff is from the ancient past. One legend is, Aramu Muru, an Incan priest from the Temple of the Seven Rays fled from the Spanish Conquistadors with a sacred golden disc known as "The Key of the Gods of the Seven Rays." Shamans were at the cliff face door when Aramu Muru showed them the key of the gods. After a sacred ritual with the golden disk a portal opened, a tunnel with a blue light. Aramu Maru passed the golden disk to the Shamans and went into the portal never to be seen again.

In other legends, the Golden disk is hidden in the Crystal City in Lake Titicaca, having powerful vibrational capabilities that could interfere with earth.
